Definition of Done (DoD)

The Definition of Done is a team-wide agreement on what 'done' means — code reviewed, tested, documented, and deployed, for example. It prevents work from being called finished when it's only partly there, reducing hidden rework. Unlike acceptance criteria (which are per-story), the DoD applies to every item.
