Definition of Ready (DoR)
The Definition of Ready is a checklist that a backlog item must satisfy before it's eligible for development — clear acceptance criteria, no blocking dependencies, and a shared understanding, for example. It's the counterpart to the Definition of Done and prevents half-baked work from entering a sprint. Ready items keep delivery predictable.
Put the method into practice.
